Dubai has amalgamated its position in the global business unit. In the upcoming year, this city is going to host 99 major conferences, incentive business travel, congress programs, and other international business events by maintaining the tracking record.

Past six months of 2022, DBE(Dubai Business Events) and Dubai’s official Convention Bureau combine with stakeholders across the UAE and emirate to register 99 successful bid wins.

Over the upcoming time, these events can attract more than 77,000 delegates which can yield over 330,000 hotel rooms. As a result, this bid boosts Dubai’s business process, hospitality, and tourism sector.

Industry holders say it helps to make a tremendous economic movement for world business. In addition, it can bring more comprehensive knowledge and expertise worldwide.

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said: “Inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the city of the future and the world’s best place to live, work and invest in, business events will continue to be a priority, building on the Expo 2020 Dubai legacy and Dubai’s status as a destination where the world can come together.”

The success of international business events in HI 2022 so far included the IFOS ENT World Congress (2023), International Congress of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (2023), and International Congress of Endocrinology (2024), and Congress of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (2024).

The success of Expo 2020 Dubai produces a networking platform to showcase knowledge and global business expertise. The prosperous city of Dubai constantly shows its ability and effectively hosts different sizes of business events to meet the world’s demands.
